TC Walleyes Unlimited Sponsors Student Anglers
The non-profit Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited organization sponsored both Lakeville and Minnetonka high school and junior-level fishing clubs this past year.

“Our season actually runs year around,” said Lakeville Club Coach Kara Wattunen. “Students have opportunities to fish in TBF (The Bass Federation) Bassmaster Minnesota and Student Angler Tournament Trail events.

“Sponsorship funds go towards student equipment, compensation for boaters, guest speakers and more,” she added. “We have a very diverse team in a sense of interest levels. We have some (student anglers) who are on the path to become the next Elite Series pro on Bassmasters and some who just want to learn more and be outside.”

Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited, Inc. organized in 2016 with the purpose of connecting individuals who share a passion for fishing, while helping anglers improve their skills and knowledge. In addition, Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited gives back to the communities it serves by volunteering time and resources.
