Meet Doug - Business & Risk Management Student
Doug Jueckstock,
Business & Risk Management student at the
Wilson Talent Center, took and passed the Certified Authorization on Workers Compensation exam. He is the only high school student in the State of Michigan to take and pass this exam. Doug was sponsored by Accident Fund to take the course over the summer. His next step is his Property & Casualty exam. Congratulations, Doug!

Manufacturing Day Opens Eyes to Opportunities
On Friday, October 4, approximately 120 students from the
Wilson Talent Center participated in National Manufacturing Day presented locally by the Capital Area Manufacturing Council. Students from
Engineering Technologies,
Precision Machining Technology and
Welding Technology classes visited area manufacturers such as Cameron Tool, Dowding Industries, Eckhart, LOC Performance and Manitou Boats to name a few. Regionally, just under 1,000 students overall visited more than 20 area companies learning about careers available in the manufacturing sector.
