Angela Traylor Named Vice President of
Finance and Administration at Louisville Seminary
Angela Traylor
May 8, 2020 (LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – On May 8, 2020, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary President Alton B. Pollard, III, announced the appointment of Angela R. Traylor, C.P.A., as the seminary’s new Vice President of Finance and Administration. Traylor has served as Louisville Seminary’s Controller since 2014. She succeeds Pat Cecil, who is retiring as the seminary’s Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at the conclusion of the current fiscal year.

Traylor, a Certified Public Accountant, brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to the position with much of her work focused in the nonprofit sector. Further, she has worked with employees from staff to presidents and executive directors. According to Pollard, Traylor’s experience in financial management and human resources made her the best candidate.

“Angela Traylor comes to us as a valued colleague and is well-qualified to serve as our new Vice President of Finance and Administration,” said Pollard. “I look forward to working closely with her in this important fiscal leadership position.”

Traylor received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisville and her Associate of Applied Science degree in data processing at the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed Scientific School (now the J.B. Speed School of Engineering).

“I have cherished my time with the seminary community thus far, and look forward to serving in this new role,” said Traylor.
