CBPH Caucus Updates
MESSAGE FROM THE CAUCUS CHAIR:
Dr. JUANITA BOOKER-VAUGHNS

Caucus Members and Supporters-

This has been a difficult year for all of us. We have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and many of us have lost friends and family. Our hearts continue to break as we hear and see our black communities impacted by the racism that plagues this country. Every week, we here of black males dying at the hands of law enforcement. This has to end. The Caucus stand with you against racism.

The #APHA2020 Early-Bird Deadline has been extended to Sept. 10th! Be a part of history and join us at the largest Virtual Annual Meeting and Expo for public health professionals. Learn more at www.apha.org/annualmeeting.

Although the meeting won't be face-to-face in San Francisco, it is still taking place in an innovative online format due the COVID-19 pandemic. As a Caucus, we are doing our best to provide attendees with a rich experience. We will continue to share updates and exciting sessions with you in the these final months leading up to APHA 2020.

For those that will be presenting at this year's meeting, we are excited to hear about the important work you are doing in the community. We are currently looking for volunteers to moderate CBPH Caucus sessions. To sign up, visit the link below by 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, September 11:
