German Week, Oct. 28-Nov. 1

Next week is German Week at Woodland! Every day students can look for paper gummy bears in the hallways. If they find one, they can take it to the office and exchange it for real gummy bears.

Each day will have a theme, too! Students can stop by B-9 to show Ms. Blevins their outfit each day. There will be one student and one teacher selected daily as best dressed and they will win a prize.
  • Tuesday: dress like a German flag (wear black, red, and yellow)
  • Wednesday: dress like a gummy bear (wear a gummy bear color, all one color)
  • Thursday: flag face painting day (come by B-9 during advisory and get the flag of a German-speaking country painted on your face/hand by the 8th grade German students)
  • Friday: hat day (come by B-9 and get a paper hat)
