In these difficult times, many people are turning to nature for solace. Here they and we can find our loving, creative, saving God, as Paul writes in Romans 1:20. Well done to all of you who are finding new ways to worship, some outdoors (see below). Time for Nature is the theme of this years' World Environment Day and we have a new worship resources for to use on Environment Sunday, June 7th.
It's this kind of re-imaging of our mission and ministry that has helped the diocese achieve a Bronze Eco Diocese award (see below). With nine different criteria to fulfill this is quite an achievement and a credit to all the Eco Churches across the diocese who have contributed as well as diocesan staff and volunteers.
Our new programme of webinars (see below) is designed to help you get started or take the next
steps in
creation care. While the pandemic is ever present in our minds at the moment, the climate emergency and nature crisis loom large and urgently demand our prayers and actions. Please do join one or more of these training opportunities.
God bless
