Hello members, partners, and friends!

First and foremost, we hope you are healthy, happy, and well. As we continue to navigate through the uncharted waters of this pandemic, we wanted to provide as many updates as possible about our fall events and reemphasize two key things: (1) everyone’s health and well-being remains our top priority and (2) we continue working to ensure our members and partners have meaningful ways to connect with each other throughout the year despite our uncertain times.

As of today, taking all factors into consideration, including stay-at-home orders and mass gathering restrictions across the nation, we have decided to move both the National Staff Development and Training Association ( NSDTA ) conference and the American Association of Health and Human Services Attorneys ( AAHHSA ) conference to virtual events . More details will be forthcoming.

As we continue to plan for the IT Solutions for Human Services ( ISM ) conference, we are carefully weighing all options, including opportunities in which we would incorporate content from the conferences we are unable to hold in 2020. These cancelled conferences include: The National Association for Program Information and Performance Measurement ( NAPIPM ) Education Conference and the American Association of SNAP Directors ( AASD ) / National Association of State TANF Administrators ( NASTA ) Education Conference.

We will provide more details on the status of the events as we continue to explore all possible avenues while also closely monitoring public health guidance. In the meantime, if you have any conference related questions, please reach out to Donna Jarvis-Miller or Maurine Jones .

We remain committed to our collective mission to advance the well-being of all people and provide shared learning opportunities that allow us to continue to generate solutions TOGETHER and we cannot thank you enough for your continued commitment. Don’t forget you can continue to visit our COVID-19 page for updates and resources and you can also stay up to date by signing up for our weekly newsletter, This Week In Washington , or following us on Twitter @ APHSA1 .

Thank you again for your tireless work and dedication! Please stay safe and be well.
