NNJC Outdoor Adventure News & Updates
Are you ready to get out of the house and get back outdoors? Summer camp season is right around the corner, and we're planning on having our camps open for an awesome summer! Our camp team at NNJC is closely monitoring and adhering to all CDC and NY/NJ DOH Health and Safety Guidelines. This newsletter is designed to keep our Scouting families updated on the status of our camps as we continue to receive new information. Any additional questions or concerns can be sent to communications@nnjbsa.org

*If you do not wish to receive this weekly update, please email communications@nnjbsa.org and we will remove you from the list of recipients.*
Camp Status
At this time, we plan on opening all our camps this year. We are closely monitoring federal, state, and CDC guidelines for group gatherings and sanitation procedures. The procedures we follow can be found here. We are also in close communication with our Council Health Consultant, Dr. Peter Blumenthal.

All our camps also follow American Camp Association measures for communicable disease management. A healthy camp also begins and ends at home. See ACA recommendations for campers here.

Our NNJC Camp Department will continue to keep our Scouting community informed about the status of our camps as the situation develops.

The Early Bird pricing deadline is May 1st, 2020 for both Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts.

If our camps should close for any reason and you have already submitted a deposit or paid in full, you can receive credit for future event registration or a full refund. Note: this only applies if NNJC makes the decision to close camp, not if your unit has already paid and chooses not to attend. Each camp's Leaders/Parent Guide outlines cancellation procedures.
