We rarely worry about the present. What we really worry about is what may or may not happen in the future. And we usually forget what has happened in the past. We forget about how our worries didn’t alleviate our fears. In this week’s message, we'll learn about a person who forgot about God’s past faithfulness. His worries drove him to a place emotionally, spiritually, physically, and relationally he should never have gone. And in response, God asked him a very important question that continues to speak to us today.

Join us this Sunday as we wrap up the Don't Worry, Be Happy sermon series with the message "Now and Then."

We will be celebrating holy communion together this Sunday!

For those joining us online for the 10:30 AM service, we ask that you have your own bread, juice, or similar items ready to partake.

Worship // times change - services at 9:30 AM and 11 AM

Sunday School // children, youth, and adults at 9:30 AM

Merger Reception // newly added!

Join us for a reception to celebrate the merger of Asbury and Salem and take an opportunity to fellowship together as one congregation. The reception will begin following the 11 AM worship service. Light refreshments will be served. The reception will be held outside, rain-or-shine; in the event of rain we'll gather under the overhang at the upper entrance.

Chancel Choir Rehearsals Beginning

Asbury's Chancel Choir is gearing up for the fall season! Rehearsals begin TONIGHT, Thursday, September 2. Pick up music in the choir room and join for rehearsal in the Worship Center from 7:15 PM - 8:45 PM. NEXT WEEK ONLY, the choir will meet on Wednesday (September 8), still at 7:15 PM.

2021 Charge Conference

Asbury 2021 Charge Conference has been scheduled for Monday, September 27, at 6 PM; however, due to the ongoing pandemic, this meeting is open to Asbury's leadership only.

Laurie Theisen, Asbury's Director of Lay Ministries, will lead the group on the topic "Beyond 'Let Me Know What I Can Do'". All women are welcome. The group will follow all masking policies.
