Parsha Talk

One challenge in davening is trying to remain completely focused on prayer. Sometimes when people are rebuked for talking, one of them will respond "but I wasn't talking...he was talking to me!" What does the parsha think of this scenario?
Spread the Good!
A ripple of kindness and smiles
While stopping the spread of COVID-19 is critically important, Spread the Good is about ensuring we are still focused on our humanity during this time of uncertainty. It is about sharing your acts of kindness to inspire others, outweigh the number of confirmed cases, and bring more light during this period of perceived darkness. Let your kindness and good ripple through the world and bring about a wave of smiles.

We have created a Facebook Group where we hope you will join us in posting positive messages of good in your life and/or of kindness you are a part of. Please use the hashtags #spreadthegood or #spreadthegoodRMBA and together let's put good messages out in the virtual world. Click here to join the group and to be inspired.

If a person sins and commits one of the commandments of the Lord which may not be committed, but he does not know, he is guilty, and he shall bear his transgression. He shall bring an unblemished ram from the flock, with the value for a guilt offering, to the kohen. The kohen shall then make atonement for his unintentional sin which he committed and did not know, and he shall be forgiven. It is a guilt offering he has incurred guilt before the Lord

BIMA Gives Back

RMBA joined the #MillionMaskChallenge along with a large community of printing enthusiasts using the 3D printers in the BIMA lab. Due to the school being closed, Jay Dela Cruz, who lead's the RMBA Technology Integration, brought the printers home to be able to safely make the masks from there. We are proud to be able to help and support all the wonderful medical professional heroes who are at the front line of COVID-19. Thank you for all that you are doing!
Spring Butterflies

Students in Morah Aviva's ECE4 class had fun watching a special youtube video that Morah Aviva made them, which taught them how to craft butterflies for the spring using construction paper, painters tape, and crayons.
Letter of the Week

Students in Morah Alissa's ECE3 class learned all about the letter Q this week. They enjoyed decorating their letters with painted Q-tips, and then emailed in pictures of themselves holding something that began with the letter Q.
The Twits

Students in Ms. Bernosky's 3rd grade class finished their unit on Roald Dahl's The Twits by submitting book report projects. The projects were unique, as students had the choice to submit a movie poster representation of the book, a cereal box, a collage, or a game. The students demonstrated their knowledge and had a great time in the creative process.
Hallel Together

In celebration of Rosh Chodesh Nissan (the new month of Nissan) students in 1st through 5th grades participated in a zoom Hallel, davening all together. Students enjoyed seeing friends outside their grade level and bringing in the new month in such a special way.
Volcano Fun

Students in early childhood through 2nd grade explored volcanoes this week in STEAM. They learned all about what makes volcanoes erupt, and where they are located in the USA. The students also had a great time learning how to make their own volcanoes at home!
