WEEKLY WRAP UP for Friday, Nov. 1, 2019

A message from your Chamber

Congratulations to the Cliff and Katelyn Olle and Old Taylor High for bringing home the award for the best rehab or restoration project in a town with fewer than 50,000 residents from the Texas Downtown Association.
OTH faced competition from Cochran Blair & Potts in Belton, the Denison City Hall, the Mustang Cantina in Goliad, Briscoe's Emporium on Lower Main in Mount Vernon and Conrad Lofts in Plainview.
The Olles purchased the 1923 high school (turned junior high) building on Seventh Street in November 2016. The complex now includes 12 modern apartments, Plowman's Kitchen, the Loose Screw, ON Technology, Meals on Wheels and the Switzer Senior Center.
The Chamber is proud of this achievement and is grateful to the Olles and their work at OTH for bringing positive attention to Taylor's past and its future.
