President's Message
To our valued members,
What a year it’s been. Never in my wildest imagination did I think this year would have been the year of zoom meetings and drop shipments. So much has changed in the last nine months. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to you and the value we hope you receive by being a member of PAPPA.
We exceeded attendance expectations and outperformed ourselves at our annual Winter Expo back in January. We quickly transitioned from an organization that thrived on in person events to an organization that found its way in the new virtual world. We hosted 25 coffee talks which were facilitated by our supplier partners, 6 fireside chats that featured industry leaders such as Paul Bellantone (PPAI), Tim Andrews (ASI) and Bill Petrie (Brandivate) and released a new state of the art website.
We hosted our first Virtual Experience in July that featured 20 supplies and 70 distributors and we were able to conduct a safe, productive and educational in person trade show at ASI in October. Our number one goal has been and is to provide our members with the utmost value to make their business the most successful it can be. I encourage everyone to engage, get involved and at some point if time permits, volunteer. Our organization is stronger when we engage, interact and share.
Thank you for allowing me to be the President of PAPPA during this unprecedented year. I would like to extend a warm welcome to PAPPA’s new board members Nick Valentini, MVP Promos, and Rick Colvin, info-Graphix, who will begin their terms in January. Also, thank you Casey Flores, Spider Image, and James Przybyszewski, Hit, for your extended interest in serving another term on the board. I look forward to working with our incoming President, Mark Colfer and the PAPPA board in 2021 in my role as Past President to continue making PAPPA great.
Sincerely,
Brian Deissroth
PAPPA President
