Our “return to school date” has shifted from March 27 to April 1, but that new date is dependent upon federal, state, and local authorities.
The parent survey seeking feedback on our online instruction that I previously wrote to you about is coming this Tuesday, so please be on the lookout for that and participate!

- Your pictures can include your student completing school work, meeting online with classmates and teachers, or being creative with family time.
- Do you have furry family members? Send pictures of your students studying with their pets.
- Please make sure your pictures are of good quality, lighting, and focus, and choose the largest size possible when sending.

Prince Avenue Christian School is pleased to
announce that through the faithful generosity
of friends and alumni, there is a selection of
scholarships available for the 2020-2021 school year.
A list of the scholarships along with descriptions and applications are available on the PACS website.
For most scholarships, there are fillable cover sheets
as well as the requirement to submit additional information such as an essay or tax return information.
The deadline for scholarship applications
is Wednesday, April 1st

Summer at Prince offers opportunities in

- Camps are open to all PACS students as well as those that do not attend PACS. Students are encouraged to invite friends and family.
- Parents who desire a full-day camp for their child may wish to combine camps. Please check camp dates and times in order to coordinate the schedule to fit your needs.

The Prince Avenue Christian School community

Prince Avenue Baptist Church in hosting Camp 78,
a summer day camp for children
ages 3 years old - completed 5th grade.
Camp 78 is a unique opportunity to reach our community for Christ by ministering to children and families for a week in the summer on our campus and in our facilities.
There are many exciting ways for teachers, parents, and students to be involved in Camp 78.

Spring Pictures Ready for Ordering

- For the password, use the prefix pacs followed by the last name. (Example: pacsbentley)
- Next, parent name and email.
- After entering that information, you can view the proofs of the children with the last name you used as the password.
- Click on “Thumbnails” in the top right of the menu bar.
- When ready to order, click on the thumbnail you desire so it is enlarged below the options bar and select "Add to Favorites".
- Once you have selected your favorite image, go back to the top bar and select the fourth option "Build Order". This will take you to a new menu.
- Click on the "Favorites" button located on the left of the screen to bring up your selected image if you do not already see it.
- The package and a-la-carte options will be on the menu in the center of the screen for families to choose from.
There is an early bird discount of 15% off for all orders placed by March 30th. The link will stay open through April 13th.

Dear Parents,
Over the past few weeks, I have been spending a lot of time in Psalm 27 and thinking about how we as followers of Jesus respond to times of adversity. I am so thankful that our Prince community is set on the solid rock that is Jesus Christ.
I know it would be really easy to panic during this time or to be angry because we think everyone else is overreacting and it inconveniences our lives. However, what I have seen from our community is a team that is grounded and can take what feels like "the day of trouble" and simply adapt as necessary.
I have been proud of how you and your students have responded to our transition to online education, and I truly believe it is because we, school and families, know that our hope is in Christ alone! Everyone is searching for something, some solid rock, that they believe can handle the weight of their problems. Without it, there is nothing to keep us grounded when adversity strikes. I want to encourage you to keep finding your hope in Christ and let Jesus draw you and your family closer to him during the next few weeks!
