COVID-19 updates from AAICU colleges and universities
The Alabama Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (AAICU) fourteen member institutions have made decisions with the greatest concern for the health, safety and welfare of their students, faculty, staff and the members of the communities in which we live, during the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. As such, each of our institutions has enacted plans specific to their campuses which have resulted in the necessary decision to authorize a series of measures, ranging from the suspension of classes, and transition to online delivery for classes, to limited access to campuses for non-essential personnel and cancellation of university events. Each AAICU institution is closely monitoring the situation. Please visit each institution's special COVID-19 website below to learn more and stay up to date about timelines and the specific measures being taken on our campuses. AAICU colleges and universities endeavor to respond proactively to the seriousness of this situation and work to mitigate the spread of the virus while remaining focused on their respective missions.
*Many of our universities have moved to reduced staffing and updates to their websites will be made as new information is released.  Keep checking for the most up to date information.
