Blowing Rock Chamber
The Chamber is running the 25 Days of Holiday Shopping sponsored by Modern Ford of Boone from November 11 - December 5. You can follow along via our Facebook page. We are featuring daily gift ideas from member businesses. On Friday, December 4, we will have the Holiday Stroll where our downtown retailers are staying open late for holiday shopping and cheer.
Charleston Metro Chamber
The Chamber is pleased to announce Darryl Brown as Director of Emerging Workforce & Trident Regional Career Specialist. In this role, Darryl will build and nurture partnerships between education and industry to deliver career exposure and exploration opportunities for the emerging workforce. Additionally, he will serve as the regional career specialist in service to local school districts through the state education department’s Office of Career and Technical Educations.
Garner Chamber
The Chamber hosted the 2020 Connect Conference, usually a half-day economic summit, virtually this year. The virtual conference was very well attended, garnering over 60 attendees each session over four weeks; covering topics ranging from private and public development, inspirational and motivational, local economic updates, to the "state of the chamber." Each session lasted about one hour and included additional time for virtual networking for our members. We are excited about our future in Garner!
Holly Springs Chamber
The Chamber has hired Lauren DeAlto as their new Executive Director.

North Myrtle Beach Chamber
The Chamber and Visitors Bureau has announced they have changed their name and logo. The new name - Destination NMB - evokes the type of desirable community North Myrtle Beach is today and aspires to be in the future - a tourism destination. Are we still the Chamber of Commerce? “We are still the chamber, we are also the destination marketing organization and now we have a shorter, direct name that encompasses both” stated Cheryl Y. Kilday, CDME, President and CEO of Destination NMB.
Wilmington Chamber
Natalie English, the Chamber's President & CEO, was recently named to the Greater Wilmington Business Journal's 2020 WilmingtonBiz 100 list as an Innovator, and Megan Mullins, the Chamber's VP of Marketing & Communications, was named to the same list as a Connector.
