Game Day @ Central Library, November 19
Join us Tuesday, November 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for an all-ages game day at Central Library! We will have tabletop games, video games, and virtual reality technology available. Light snacks will be provided.

From Settlers of Catan to Battleship, there are games for everyone. All virtual reality user need to be at least 13 years old.
Introduction to App Development with XCode
Join us Saturday, November 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Central Library for an Introduction to App Development with XCode. Mikeal Vaughan from the Urban Coders Guild will cover the basics of creating iOS apps with XCode.

XCode is a visual-based tool that can be used to make mobile apps for Apple phones and tablets. It is available to use in the Digital Literacy Lab with your library card!
Mac Computers for Beginners
Want to learn how to operate a MacBook or Mac computer?

Join us Tuesday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Library to learn the basics of using a Mac computer in this hands-on class as we explore the dock, searching files, Mac-only applications and more. 
Photoshop Lab: Paint Like Basquiat
Photoshop is a powerful software. It can be hard to know where to start. Join us Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Central Library as we cover the basics of Adobe Photoshop to create artwork in the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

We will use layers, brushes, and more in this Photoshop Lab.
DIY Personal Digital Archives
Organizing your digital photos and documents can be confusing. What should you name your files? Folders - are they friend or foe?

Join us Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Library as we explore best practices for organizing, backing up, and storing your digital assets.

Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13 or at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26 for a Digital Literacy Lab Orientation at Central Library.

DIY Digitization, November 20
Are you looking to save your family history in a more updated format? Learn how you can use our digitization equipment in the Digital Literacy Lab to archive your family history projects and more.

Join us Wednesday, November 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Library for this monthly class. We do hands-on demonstrations of Digital Literacy Lab equipment and talk about how you can use our space to accomplish your digitization projects.
Social Media for Beginners
Join us Tuesday, November 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Central Library for an introduction to social media platforms.

The class will include a brief overview of sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You will learn the differences between the platforms, how to sign up, and social media etiquette in this class.
