See how God is working through The Barnabas Group!
The very poorest of the world’s smallholder coffee farmers live in the hardest to reach places in the mountains, have limited access to clean water, sanitation, education, and a healthy home. These are the people who grow and pick our finest coffee.

Attending a SWOT Team Meeting Led to a Trip
to Honduras for One OC TBG Partner!

When TerraMica approached The Barnabas Group for counsel regarding leveraging up our organization’s management approach to growth, they immediately jumped into action via a SWOT meeting.

Several members came alongside us to provide useful information, such as Alan Weisenberger. Meeting with him was instrumental in getting our process started, and he strongly advised participating in a Barnabas SWOT meeting. That meeting proved to be productive in developing greater refinement of our vision and improved direction for our organization.

After being introduced at the SWOT meeting, one particular member began coaching our senior team and spent time in the field observing the methodology of executing our mission and vision in practical terms. His advice over the next six months was quite valuable, and created a number of new “ah-ha” moments for us. As a result of his input, questions and direction, we began adjusting our messaging both internally and externally.

The internal adjustments helped create clarity for our international staff, which had a positive impact on job performance and effectiveness out in the field. The external communication piece has literally set our organization on a new course with greater exposure to a much wider band of potential donors and volunteers.

Orange County Barnabas Group member Gene Wood invested his time and money to travel with TerraMica in order to immerse himself into our world of service. The impact he has had in assisting us in refining our vision, mission, and direction have been incredibly beneficial.

VISION: To provide a pathway to greater physical, emotional, and
spiritual health for families living in extreme poverty.

MISSION: Through our educational program, we train impoverished families how to improve generational behaviors in physical health, relationships, faith, and their environment. We then rebuild the physical home to a healthy and safe status.
