At our Evening of Champions Drive-Thru Edition this month! Please see highlights below.
We hope that you are enjoying a safe and restful summer break. Although we are well into the summer break, we are still celebrating the accomplishments of our eagles! We included in this issue the photos from our end of school Evening of Champions Drive-Thru Edition. We recognized 200 students for their academic achievements and impactful leadership at HCMS.

We have been busy getting ready for the new school year to start in August. Due to remaining uncertainties regarding the opening of schools, we will continue to follow the latest news. Please visit https://www.ocps.net/home and https://hunterscreekms.ocps.net/ to stay informed.

Please remember that the visitor hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at all schools and district offices. All visitors are still required to make an appointment prior to their visit to conform with health and safety requirements. All buildings are closed on Fridays.

Happy 4th of July!

Stay safe! Be healthy!

7th Grade Vaccinesseventhvaccines

OCPS parents of rising 7th grade students, the state of Florida requires that all students entering 7th grade must have the Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) immunization.
Your child MUST have this immunization in order to start the 7th grade. We want to let you know the Florida Department of Health in Orange County is offering a special session for 7th grade students to receive their required Tdap vaccine at no charge starting May 18. To schedule an appointment please call 407.723.5004 and press 2. For information you can visit orange.floridahealth.gov

Your child's immunization will be documented on the updated form you will need to submit to your child's school before they can attend class for the 2020-21 school year. This is also an excellent opportunity to have your child's immunization records reviewed by a health care provider to ensure your child's vaccines are up-to-date.

Please send a copy of your updated records to our Registrar, Michelle Flynn, via email at [email protected]
