“The Great Healer”
Rev. Suzelle Lynch

There is one presence in our lives that has more power to teach us and heal us and comfort us than any other: nature. As we conclude our month focused on nature, we celebrate and explore its power and beauty in our lives.

Following the service, stop by UU Church West for our “Nature Sunday Social” at 11:30 am.

Summer Got You Feeling Down?

We are approaching the dog days of summer, the days marked by lethargy, inactivity, and indolence. Are you suffering from these symptoms? Perhaps something besides the heat is getting you down. Maybe you need a to consult with a member of the Lay Pastoral Care Team.

LIVING OUR VALUES
UUCW Supports FOOD Pantry of Waukesha County

The food pantry collection for this summer is the FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County. The pantry serves 5,700 residents a month.

Drop your donations into the tub on Sadie's porch!
UUCW's Split the Plate partner for mid-July through August is The Gathering of Southeastern Wisconsin.

The Gathering's Fresh Produce Preservation Project compliments their mission to feed the hungry. The Gathering recently offered produce to a local Milwaukee restaurant which in turn provided free meals in the Milwaukee community.

Covenant is the Cornerstone
Rev. Denise Cawley

Unitarian Universalism is built on the concept that we are a community that makes promises to one another about how we will be in community with one another. Being a member of a Unitarian Universalist Church means we try to actively create space where others can thrive in community. We covenant to continually learn to do better and work together to gain new skills. We call one another back into covenant to support the collective creation of the world our Principles challenge us to build. Covenant is the beauty of our UU faith.
