“A fearful world needs a fearless church!”
-- A. W. Tozer
A word from Art:
Finding blessings beyond the daily grind of life
SermonTitle: Blessed to Thrive
Scripture: Romans 8:37

With all that is going on in our nation today, it is really hard to see how we can be blessed beyond measure. Some may even wonder, "Am I blessed at all?" Well, this Sunday we will unpack how we can not only live in the day today, but thrive even in the midst of perilous situations. The Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:37, "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." So join us Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to find out how we can not only survive, but thrive.
Where you can watch our Sunday services
Starting this Saturday, we will send an email to the MC3 family to serve as a handy reference for where they can watch our services live on Sunday mornings at 10:30. In the meantime, please feel free to bookmark these three options:

Watch on the MC3.Life website at this link: https://mc3.churchonline.org/

Watch on Facebook at this link: https://www.facebook.com/mcthreechurch/

Of course, you can also access the service live via our MC3 Church app. If you haven’t downloaded the app, please use the links below.

And, finally, remember that we have created a new web page, MC3.life/online that puts the most important church information in one easy-to-find place. You can link directly to the page by going to www.mc3.life/online , or you can find it at the very top of our website.

Help us make our online worship experience more effective
In these days of online church, we want to make sure we offer the best-possible worship experience.

If you watched Sunday's service, please take a moment now and share you feedback. Even though we stream each week, we are in a very different environment and would like to improve for next week. Here is the link to the survey:

Wonderful Wednesdays

Starting this Wednesday, we will be emailing all of the parents of our darling children with a resource they can use to share a gospel message with their kiddos. This will serve as our Wednesday C-Group for our little ones. Look for the email on Wednesday!

Did you help your children worship on Sunday?

We hope our resources for your children worked well this past Sunday. Our children are studying all about forgiveness this month, and here's a reminder of the resources we have. Remember, you can always access these resources via the new web page, mc3.life/online . New lessons will be added on Saturdays for the following week.

  • Ages 3-5 – Use First Look Preschool
  • 1st-3rd Graders – Use 252 Kids Experience
  • 4th-5th Graders – Use 253 Preteen Experience

Preschoolers
Elementary (Grades 1-5)

If you have any feedback on these online resources, please email Rae Caggiula at caggiula@mc3.life .

Helping your children handle their anxiety

Anxiety can be real for children of all ages, and it's good for parents to talk with kids about their worries and concerns. Here are Conversation Guides that you may find useful in helping your preschool and elementary age children deal with anxiety:

We're planning to do VBS - Mark you calendars and pray for it
VBS
Marketplace 29 A.D.
May 31-June 2
J.B. Williams Park

In view of the nation’s unprecedented crisis, we are planning, praying and hopeful that we will be able to have our Vacation Bible School on the above dates.

Marketplace 29 A.D. is a re-creation of a Bible-times village where the costumed students will learn (in screen houses, tents!) about family life when Jesus was a boy and Bible lessons. The children will make bricks, carpentry items, jewelry, pottery, etc., of that era. They will learn Hebrew folk dances and relive events that could have taken place in 29 A.D.

We will need many people to serve in this exciting adventure! There is an area just for you! Please plan to help! And, right now, please be praying that the social distancing required in the face of the coronavirus will subside by then, so that we can hold our VBS and share God with the children in our community.

Mark your calendars now and plan to BAF-- Bring A Friend!
Options for giving your tithes and offerings while we worship online
We may be worshiping virtually, but we need literal tithes and offerings to sustain the operations of the church. Here are several options for giving to the church during this time:

  • Mail your check to the church office at 1227 Rockbridge Rd., Ste 208-251, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
  • Use the Bill Pay option through your online banking. Make sure you earmark the check for Mount Carmel Christian Church and use the address above.
  • Give Online. You can access the Give Online option through the MC3 Church app or website, or click here. Please note: When you give online, 2.2 percent of your donation, plus a transaction fee, goes to the service provider. Using Bill Pay through your bank ensures the church receives the entire offering.

Always remember that we have two rules when it comes to giving at MC3: Give cheerfully and give what the Lords tells you.

An opportunity to shine:
Be the hands and feet of Christ in trying times
Give help where it's needed. We have people who need rides to doctors or medical treatments, grocery pickups and other assistance. If you can volunteer to be part of a network of individuals who can help with these matters, please email or call Vicki Calhoun at 770-783-1035.

Call someone! – Make at least one call a day to someone who needs to feel the love of Christ. Social distancing shouldn’t mean complete isolation. Please email or call Vicki Calhoun if you need a name of someone who could use a phone call.

Food Drive for Lilburn Cooperative Ministry – Please bring your food donations to the church office, 1316 Rockbridge Rd, Suite M, and we’ll make sure they’re delivered to Lilburn Co-Op. You can drop off donations at our office, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Let’s keep showing love in practical ways to those who need it most!
