(1) Virtual Student Town Hall – Monday, March 30 (Students)

A Student Town Hall with President Paula Milone-Nuzzo will be held via ZOOM on Monday, March 30 at Noon. This is an opportunity to continue our conversation about ongoing initiatives at the IHP, in particular, updates and issues related to the COVID-19 virus. If you have questions before, during, or after the Town Hall, please submit them via Institute Input .


(2) Virtual Spring Study Breaks Begin on Monday, March 23 (Students)

Study Breaks is still happening... it just looks a little different this year. Due to COVID-19, we will be having Study Breaks completely online from Monday, March 23 to Friday, April 24. Visit Virtual Study Breaks for tips on how to manage being an online student, suggestions for fun things to do online when you need a study break, and more interactive events and activities over the coming weeks, brought to you by the Office of Student and Alumni Services and the Janis P. (3) Parking Cancellation (Faculty & Staff)

Institute employees who wish to temporarily cancel their parking can do so and can reinstate their parking when we are able to return to campus. To temporarily cancel your parking and payroll deduction, please contact IHP Parking and provide your full name, username, and employee ID number.


(4) Faculty Promotion Workshops – Monday, April 6 and Thursday, April 30 (Faculty)

All faculty interested in learning more about academic promotion are invited to join a workshop on Monday, April 6 from 10:00–11:00 a.m. and repeated on Thursday, April 30 from 11:00 a.m.–Noon. The chair of the Appointment and Promotion Committee will review the process for applying and share how the committee makes its recommendations. You may connect to the workshop via ZOOM.


(5) Marathon Postponed (Institute Wide)

The 2020 Boston Marathon, originally scheduled for April 20, has been postponed to September 14. However, Team IHP runners Kim Erler, PhD ’17 and an assistant professor of occupational therapy, and Jordan Griffiths, SLP ’19, remain committed to continue training so they can run the race.  Follow their stories and support their fundraising efforts.


(6) Nursing Skills Lab Supplies Ordering for Summer 2020 Semester (Nursing Faculty)

Nursing faculty who teach in Shouse 113, 108, or 310 and need to order lab supplies for summer semester 2020 should complete the Lab Supply Order Form and return it to Patti Pierce by Monday, April 27 to ensure supplies will be available.
