Meet the Staff
Martin Nibali
Communication Committee
Martin was a Scout in Pack 33 (The original Troop 1 predating even the founding of BSA) in his youth and followed his son Patrick back into the fold 12 years ago. He has served on Pack and Troop committees, run the pinewood derby, served as den leader, Scoutmaster and is currently Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 16 in the Dulaney District of the Baltimore Area Council.
An avid recreational rock climber, Martin made becoming a certified BSA climbing instructor part of his ticket as an Awe-Inspiring Antelope from course for the Woodbadge N6-220-18-2.
Martin is helping to transform the Transatlantic Council’s website, helps to maintain the Normandy section with up-to-date information and develops graphics to be used in recruitment videos for the camporee.
The best lesson Scouting has taught him is, “Feedback is a gift.”
Following a very close second and emphasized before every Troop meeting in the recitation of the Outdoor Code: “Be careful with fire.”
