Dear St. Mark Families,
Please
for a message from Dr. Steven Cheeseman, Superintendent of Schools. In keeping with the announcement of Governor Lamont, all Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Bridgeport will continue with Distance Learning for the remainder of the school year. Please be assured that our teachers, faculty, and staff, will continue to provide the quality Catholic education deserving of our St. Mark students and families at a distance.
While we were expecting this turn of events, it was very disappointing for me personally, when it became a reality. I was enjoying being a part of the traditions of St. Mark School and looked forward to participating in events such as Grandparents Day, Variety Show, and Field Day. As a parent, I too, am feeling the loss of the excitement that the end of the school year brings with all of its events and successes. While it is unfortunate that we are in this situation, it is the best interest of our children and families to keep everyone safe. I continue to hold all of you in my prayers and I hope you will do the same for me and my family. Stay healthy and safe.
Yours in Christ,
Melissa Warner
