Class of 2020 News
Seniors and Parents,

As you have undoubtedly heard by now, the state of Ohio has announced that virtual graduation ceremonies are the preferred form of graduation this year, as mass gatherings of more than 10 people are still not permitted. With this in mind, Bishop Watterson will be holding a virtual graduation for the Class of 2020. While we would prefer to gather in person to celebrate baccalaureate and graduation with the seniors, it is not practical or possible at this time. Whether we will be able to celebrate with them in some form later this year remains to be seen, but rest assured that an event to bring the class together again, when it is safe for everyone, is not far from our thoughts.

The following are important details regarding the Class of 2020:

Requirements for Graduation
Academic: 26.5 credits, including all state and school requirements. We are happy to say that all students have successfully met state testing requirements. Diplomas will be held for students not meeting Bishop Watterson credit requirements.
Financial: All tuition and fees (including lost books, library fines, athletic uniforms, etc.) must be paid/returned prior to the school sending any official transcripts or mailing the official diploma.
Disciplinary: All fines must be paid.

Senior Scholarship Letters
Please have your senior send ALL college scholarship offer letters to his or her counselor by the end of the day tomorrow, Tuesday, May 4. This is the last date for the information to be included in the graduation program.

Baccalaureate
Bishop Brennan will be celebrating a baccalaureate Mass for Diocesan high schools from St. Joseph Cathedral on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00 p.m. We will share viewing details as they become available.

Virtual Graduation
Our graduation ceremony will air on Saturday, May 30. More details on this will follow at a later date.

Drop Off/Pick Up Items
We will be scheduling a time for seniors to drop off books and laptops and pick up their caps and gowns. Watch for more information in future emails.

Respectfully,
Deacon Chris Campbell
Principal
