Shalom CSK Religious School community!
We are looking forward to learning together this Sunday in our congregation's Sukkah! Last week, our students learned about the concept of Hiddur Mitzvah/Beautification of Commandments by creating decorations for our congregational sukkah, as well as the holiday of Sukkot. In Hebrew class, our students learned the berachot/blessings for the lulav and etrog which we will shake together this Sunday. We will begin our day this Sunday at 9:30 am.
Here are some things to know for this week:
- PARENTS - If you would like to shake the lulav and etrog, please join me in the sukkah right after drop-off at 9:30 am. I will teach you about the meaning of the ritual and teach you how to shake! Please join me in the Sukkah!

Tuesday, September 28, 6:30 pm is Simchat Torah Under the Stars (in lieu of our regularly scheduled class at 4:30 pm). Please join us. RSVP HERE
- On Sunday, we will begin at 9:30 am and end at 12 pm. We ask parents to stay outside during drop off and pick up to
reduce the amount of people in the building.
9:30 am (new time) until 12:00 pm. During this time, our students will learn Judaics with Mr. Zach, Hebrew with Morah Marla, and Tefillah (prayer) with Rabbi Baum.
