Call for Abstracts for APHA 2017! 
The American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting in now accepting abstracts for the 2017 Annual Meeting! The theme for the 2017 Annual Meeting is  "Creating the Healthiest Nation: Climate Changes Health." 

The Community-Based Public Health (CBPH) Caucus invites you to submit abstracts related to the science and practice of community-based health practice. Abstracts must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on 
February 21, 2017.

CBPHC's Annual "How to Write an Abstract" Webinar 
We invite you to attend our annual " How to Write an Abstract "  webinar to learn more about the p rocess for writing and submitting an abstract to the CBPHC. The webinar will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017 from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (11 a.m. Central, 10 a.m. Mountain, and 9 a.m. Pacific). 

To sign into the webinar, follow these instructions:
  1. Ten minutes before the start time, on your computer go to https://connect.umms.med.umich.edu/cbphc-apha/ (you may need to copy and paste the link into your internet browser).
  2. Sign in as a guest.
