Mayli writes: “Before going into the Darling House, I did not have the peace I have now. In my house, there was always conflict. My mom had 3 different relationships and with each relationship another child. My step fathers did not treat me well. They were abusive. All the problems at home would really stress me out. My mom complained a lot and because I was the oldest child, I was expected to be the 2nd mom. It was a lot for me.
Thanks to a friend who invited me to a small group Bible study with other girls my age I came to know God. To tell the truth, at the beginning I went on Saturday afternoons because I didn’t have anything else to do. But slowly I really began to like the ambience and what I was learning about Jesus. Slowly, my thought patterns began to change. My shame and anger began to diminish. I began opening my heart to God and I began to not fly off the handle so quickly. Now, I feel more tranquility and peace. I invited Jesus into my heart; to reside with me always and forever. He is transforming me … and my family.
I like who God is helping me become; a calmer girl who doesn’t give up before any problem; a girl who is willing to face problems head-on because she knows she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her.”
Mayli has brought numerous people to Jesus and been an instrument in their healing. She is a constant joy, full of energy and optimism because of JESUS IN HER.
But wait, I wanted to tell you more about Luzmila. She quietly observed the changes in Mayli and marveled at who she was becoming. In these long months of covid, we have sent Bible studies to the heads of households for them to study His word as a family. Luzmila has faithfully done that with her children. Through this, God has indelibly touched her mind and heart. She recently gave her life, her children and the future completely to God. PRAISE HIS NAME. Transformation has begun.
Transformation is profound, fundamental change, altering the very nature of something. Transformational change is both radical and sustainable. Something that is transformed can never go back to exactly what it was before.
How is He transforming your life? We would love to hear!
PRAISE HIS NAME!

Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
