“The language of friendship is not words, but meaning”
Henry David Thoreau

On behalf of the Demitasse Players and Board of Directors we wish you and your loved ones a safe and blessed Holiday. And, thank you for all your support over the past five years. The holidays are a very magical and spiritual time when we can reflect on our life and to reconnect with old friends to share stories of one’s life project with merriment and to create new fond memories.

“Without friends the world is but a wilderness”
Francis Bacon

Just recently I reconnected with a friend after 50 years from our high school days by some act of synchronicity. Chris now living in Hollywood, as an actor, musician, and songwriter, scheduled a reunion at one of our old haunts in our hometown to catch up on life. Ironically, we were living parallel lives on opposite coasts. After reminiscing about our high school days. We quickly moved the conversation to our artistic works. When Chris most graciously offered to record my latest song in the studio before heading back to the West coast.

"Friends show their love in times of trouble, not in happiness." and "Life has no blessing like a prudent friend."
Euripides

I will now direct you to Chris Cassone’s performance of my latest song, “Driving,” and my two poems “Friends”, and “Pockets of Friends” performed by Benna Strober, a Founding Member of the Demitasse Players.

This Month’s Newsletter is dedicated in memoriam to cast Members Nick Fiore and Scott Smith who we loss during the COVID pandemic.
