NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS AWARDS CARES ACT FUNDS TO 5 OC ORGANIZATIONS 
 
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded $250,000 in CARES Act funding directly to Orange County arts organizations. Each of the following received a grant in the amount of $50,000: Chance Theater, Pacific Symphony, Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Relampago del Cielo, and The Wooden Floor. A total of 855 organizations received $44.5 million in funding, including 91 in California ($4,950,000). More here.

Prominent art historian and Senior Curator of California Impressionism at The University of California, Irvine's Institute and Museum of California Art (IMCA) has retired. More here.
