Dear Senior Parent,
Welcome to your student's senior year! Your student has worked hard to get here and we are hoping to celebrate their efforts with some special activities. Given the current pandemic restrictions, some events will look different than in past years and some events may not happen. Events will be developed within the parameters of COVID protocols, and instead of planning them all out for the year, we are organizing them on a month-to-month basis. This gives us flexibility if restrictions change for the better and enables us to avoid cancelling events and disappointing seniors. We are going to make every effort to make this a fun and exciting year for your senior!
In this important year, we want to make sure you are kept informed about senior events.
A folder of "Senior Events & Information" has been added to the Resources of the Class of 2021 Schoology group. If you have not yet joined the Class of 2021 group, the code to join is TBJWF-3QKC2. We encourage you to use this folder as a source of information on senior events and opportunities to help.
The Senior Class Parent Coordinators are asking senior parents to volunteer to organize and facilitate events with the help of the Senior Class Council and the Senior Class Council Advisors (Ms. McFarland, Ms. Scire and Ms. Casillas). If you are looking for a way to get involved in your student’s last year of high school, we would love to have your help!
Our first event is the senior breakfast. It will be held on Thursday, December 17 for cohort 1 and Friday, December 18 for cohort 2. We will serve a grab & go Chic-fil-A breakfast. We are asking for volunteers to help with set up and clean up on December 17 and donations of water and juice boxes. Please make sure all donations are sent to school by Wednesday, December 16. We are also looking for volunteers to deliver Dunkin Donuts coffee to the HS MPR on both days.
Please see the attached sign up genius to find your place to help with this event! And don’t worry, if you can’t make it to this event but want to still contribute, we are also asking for gift card donations to raffle off to our seniors throughout the year! Sign up for one of those and send them in with your student to give to Ms. McFarland or Ms. Norris. Put them in an envelope designated to the Senior Class of 2021 c/o Ms. McFarland.

Also, one of the main fundraisers for the Senior Class Council is parent volunteers for lunches. Please sign up to help serve and be sure to enter “Senior Parent” in the comments section so that we get the credit. It allows us the funds to support all the events of the year.
