, is an adaptation of a poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar. It follows the journey of Walter, and with the "help" of Tabula Rasa, he embarks on a journey that defies space and time to understand what it means to have an identity and ultimately find the truth.

MFA acting alumna Zora Howard wrote and starred in
premature
w
hich hit theaters in NY & LA this past weekend.
"On a summer night in Harlem during her last months at home before starting college, seventeen-year-old poet Ayanna (Zora Howard) meets Isaiah (Joshua Boone), a charming music producer who has just moved to the city. It's not long before these two artistic souls are drawn together in a passionate summer romance. But as the highs of young love give way to jealousy, suspicion, and all-too-real consequences, Ayanna must confront the complexities of the adult world—whether she is ready or not. Emotionally raw, intimate, and honest, Premature is at once timeless and bracingly contemporary in its portrait of a young woman navigating the difficult choices that can shape a life."

MFA alumna Liz Jenkins will return for the Tuesday, February 25th episode of
Black-ish
on ABC.
Black-ish
is a sitcom that follows an upper middle class family.
The show revolves around the family's lives, as they juggle several personal and sociopolitical issues.
Liz has been on multiple episodes as school teacher Miss Biggs.
