Clarification on Resorts and Campgrounds
Welcome clarification has come from the Department of Administration today. We have been fighting for campgrounds and resorts to be able to open safely and clarify their ability to operate (including seasonal renters). Consistent with our prior communications, Administration has now  issued written guidance . We will continue our advocacy and communications efforts on allowing the expansion of safe operations as we go forward.
Hospitality Minnesota First Board Meeting
With the merger agreement formed earlier this year, the First Board gathered, for their first official meeting, in a Zoom board room yesterday. The 24-member board, comprised of representatives from all three sectors, considered our advocacy efforts in light of the pandemic, our actions to move the merger to its final stage and our hopeful plans for the future.

As we’ve faced this crisis, it’s been important to bring the experiences and voices of the entire industry to leadership to make the case for the relief that these businesses need. Through our advocacy and communications, we are already seeing how we are stronger together.

A primary outcome of the discussion is the formation of a task force to organize our guidance and support for members as they face opening and re-opening businesses.

Call to Action: Blueprint for Recovery
The National Restaurant Association is  appealing to Congressional leaders to take the actions required to  improve the outlook for survival . Please take a few moments and  contact your Representative and Senators —tell them that restaurants, employees, and consumers need Congress to act on the “ Blueprint for Recovery ,” so that your restaurant can survive the long road to recovery.
