Happy New Year
JSRF Friends!

We extend our belated but sincere wishes to each and every one of you and your families that 2015 is one filled with Hope, Good Health, Happiness and Peace.

As we reflect back on 2014 we can't deny what an exciting and busy year it was for JSRF.

We ended the year with our 3rd successful and sold out JSRF Bliss Wine Event, chaired by Beth & Steve Murray and Tom & Kelly Blair, raising over $1000! We thank Maria & Chet Etling who graciously donated their winning raffle cash prize of over $200! It was an evening to remember with great friends, delicious food and wine, and live music entertainment by Katie & David Hathway.

Thirty (30) teens have "Experienced Hope" since the commencement of JSRF. This past year we sponsored a total of 11 teens with 7 teens attending resident camps at an approximate cost of $1,200 each - far surpassing our initial goal to send 1 teen each year! We had 3 very successful fundraisers, including our 2nd Experience Hope 5K Run.  We were also blessed with many private donations including a very generous endowment.

At various venues, including a Veterans dinner, we shared our story of the JSRF and our love and unfathomable loss of our sons. Sayra had an incredible opportunity to speak directly to students at her alma mater, Stevenson High School, about drug education and awareness.

Thanks to YOU, 2014 was the best year yet for JSRF. We are forever grateful and hopeful that through all the efforts and sacrifices made together...  we possibly  saved a life.

Peace, Love & Gratitude,

Ciri, Scott & Sayra Stom

Our Mission

Empowering under-resourced adolescents to Experience Hope by sponsoring participation in recreational activities enabling them to learn life survival skills and grow independently, spiritually, and intellectually.

Our Vision
JSRF believes that giving adolescents an opportunity to gain self-awareness through recreational activities will help them reach their full potential. The ultimate vision is to aid adolescents in personal growth, as well as to help them discover a sense of freedom from everyday pressures and find joy within themselves.
