Board Approves Two New COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grants

  • General Business Fund
  • Agriculture-Based Business Fund

Sent: April 23, 2020
On Tuesday my colleagues and I approved $1 million in COVID-19 relief grant funding for general small businesses, and an additional $150,000 in COVID-19 relief dedicated for rural agricultural-based small businesses.

I was happy to support the $1 million general fund, and proud to have led the effort for creation of the additional $150,000 rural agricultural-based fund! Special thanks to Catoctin District Supervisor Kershner for working with my office to help make this happen, and to my remaining colleagues who voted in support of the motion!

Note: Both grants are open to eligible rural agricultural-based small businesses; however, the $150,000 fund is only open to eligible rural agricultural-based small businesses.
