Lead the Purim Carnivals!
Teens in 9th-12th grade, if you would like to take on a leadership role and lead one or both Purim Carnivals, please email Loen by Sunday, March 1 at noon.

This is a role than can be filled by two friends together or by one single teen.
Volunteers in 7th-12th grade
Purim Prep Pizza Parties
TOMORROW, Monday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 11, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us to help get ready for the carnival. We need to make signs, clean up games, and work on some new games we're excited to introduce this year.

Pizza will be served. Please email Loen if you have any dietary restrictions.
Volunteers in 7th-12th grade
Carnival for Children and Families
Sunday, March 15, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (set up starting at 9:00 a.m.)
We need teens in 8th-12th grade to volunteer to set up before to the Carnivals, run the games, and set up for the second carnival.

Teens in 7th grade  are invited to volunteer as assistants at the first carnival. Our 7th graders can volunteer for one shift or both, depending on if they want to enjoy the carnival themselves. 
All slots are first come, first served , so sign up ASAP.

If you would like to be working with a friend, make sure your friend also signs up for that booth.
Volunteers in 8th-12th grade, only
Carnival for WJCS Friends
Sunday, March 15, 1:30-3:00 p.m. (MANDATORY orientation at 1:00 p.m.)
Adults with developmental disabilities from  WJCS' Partners in Caring Havorah  enjoy our free Purim celebration every year.

We need teens in 8th-12th grade to sing and dance with our guests, act out the Purim play with Rabbi Brusso and Cantor Herman, guide our guests in enjoying select carnival games, and help clean up.

Teens who are signed up to stay the whole day will get a FREE "meal deal" at the Carnival for Children.

Teen volunteers must participate in a MANDATORY orientation with Rabbi Brusso at 1:00 to participate, even if this is not their first year volunteering.

Teens in 7th gra de are only invited to the Carnival for WJCS Guests if they are in the Purim Band. We'd love your help next year!
Adult Help and Support
Please sponsor a booth (due 3/10) and volunteer for our carnivals (3/15).

Your form is not complete until we receive your check made out to "Bet Torah Youth."  Please drop off your check by Purim Day, Tuesday, March 10 at noon.
Adult Volunteers
Sunday, March 15, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
We need adults to help set up in the morning before the carnival, help prepare the food, sell the food, sell tickets, and distribute prizes at both carnivals, as well as clean up the Carnival for WJCS Friends in time for the evening Purimspiel .
Hands Up for Haiti
Hands Up for Haiti delivers lifesaving health care to the sickest and more impoverished people of Northern Haiti. 
Used Electronics Drive
Donate your used cell phone, tablet or computer and create a lifeline for the poorest of the poor.

Electronics must be in good working condition. They cannot be fixed in Haiti.

Your used electronics are tools that will help our doctors, nurses, and community health workers deliver essential health care to those without and will provide a lifesaving link to families in need.

Your generous donation to HUFH helps support lifesaving programs that build a better future.

Please drop off electronics in the box outside Gina Fass' office by March 31.
Haitian Guest Speakers
Tuesday, March 17, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Parents and teens (7th-12th grade), please join us to hear from speakers from  Hands Up for Haiti. The young men will share the stories of their lives and why they are involved in this important non-profit.

This event will take place during the regular Nosh and Drash time slot, but is open to all teens and parents. 

Pizza will be served, so we need your RSVP.

Join Mosaic for a wonderful opportunity to come together and experience a variety of actives that can be incorporated into your Seder. 
 
$5 a person and $10 for 2 or more.
J-Serve 2020
Sunday, March 29, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
at Westchester Community College , 75 Grasslands Rd. Valhalla, NY
J-Serve is the International Day of Jewish Youth Service. Every year, Jewish teens worldwide join each other on this special day and throughout the spring to make their community and the world a better place. 

Join Jewish teens from across Westchester County to help fight food insecurity in our own backyard. We will package hundreds of meal kits for students and others in need who frequent the food pantry at Westchester Community College each month.

Together we will learn how food insecurity affects mental health and access to education, as we give back and discover the impact we can have through J-Teen Leadership
