CSA and ASPPPO Meet the Candidates Event to be held on Oct 23rd

Mark your calendars for the CSA & ASPPPO Meet the Candidates event on October 23rd, 2019 from 2-4 PM. Hear from each of the CSA & ASPPPO Candidates who are running for election.

We are expecting a large crowd at this meeting. Please know that the Sea Pines Community Center is restricted per fire code to a seating capacity of 100 attendees for this meeting. After accommodating our required attendees at this meeting we will seat Property Owners who have reserved a ticket through this Eventbrite ticket reservation system to ensure we do not break our fire code restrictions.

9th Annual Bonfire Fundraising Event Planned for Nov 8th

Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve

Support the Sea Pines Forest Preserve by attending their fall fundraising event on Friday, November 8th. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is a 501-(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and all proceeds from this event will benefit the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

The Bonfire event will feature a delicious Lowcountry inspired menu, live music and a limited silent auction.

An open bar is included in the ticket price, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

Tickets will be available for $75 per person or reserve a table for eight (8) for $750.

Ticket sales begin October 10th

Cash or check accepted at the CSA Administration Office 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head, SC (M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm).

Click here to go to Eventbrite to order your tickets online. Sales will be made available on October 10th at 9 am and end November 6th at 4:30 pm. A convenience fee will be applied when processing credit cards through Eventbrite.

To purchase tickets after November 6th, please stop by the CSA Office 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head, SC, pending ticket availability.

Name Badges for admittance to the event will be available for Pick Up at the CSA Administration Office beginning Monday, November 4th.

Boardwalk Repairs

Construction of Boardwalk #25 is complete. See photos below.
Work on Boardwalk #26 began October 7th and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Property owners should use Boardwalk #25 during construction of Boardwalk #26.

Widening of the North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail

The North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail widening project is underway and expected to be completed next week, weather permitting.
Signs are posted for bikers to dismount and walk their bikes through the Marriott Monarch Parking Lot when the trail is not passable.

Ruddy Turnstone Road Work Project

The Town of Hilton Head Island crews continue their work to make improvements along Ruddy Turnstone Road.
Work is expected to be finished next week, weather permitting.

Plantation Drive Leisure Trail Project

The resurfacing of Plantation Drive Leisure Trail from Greenwood Drive to Lighthouse Road will begin week of Mid October.
Work will include milling and resurfacing the Leisure Trail along the project area.
The project is expected to take 1 - 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting
There will be "walk your bike" signs asking you to dismount and walk in the areas that are currently under active construction.

Lighthouse Road Project

Infrastructure repair and road resurfacing of Lighthouse Road from Plantation Drive to Harbour Town will begin week of October 14th.
The project includes drainage work, curb repairs, realigning crosswalks and road resurfacing.
During this project traffic will alternate lanes with flag persons, as the drainage work will take place in the roadway.
The project is expected to take 12 weeks, weather permitting.
