NEWS & NOTES
Join WMS Teachers and Staff for a Virtual Parent Coffee: Parenting in a Time of Crisis
Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m.

Parenting in a Time of Crisis , featuring psychologists Michael Thompson and Rob Evans , is packed with years of wisdom, experience and support for parents navigating these uncertain times. We hope you can find an hour to watch the video before the coffee, but, if time is tight, don’t let that stop you from joining us as we discuss the collective wisdom shared by these renowned psychologists who have worked with children and schools for many years.

Please join us on Saturday morning! We look forward to seeing you there.

Primary Maker Afternoon - Tomorrow (Thursday, April 23) at 2:45 p.m.

Join us tomorrow (4/23) at 2:45 p.m. for our virtual Primary/Kindergarten Maker Afternoon.

Students in the 3-6 Program have been learning about plants and pollinators during their Maker (STEAM) Studio classes. The children are invited to make something related to the topic to share with the group, or to simply come check out what others have created. Toddler/Primary STEAM Coach Alyssa Novello will also be reading The Magic Garden by Lemniscates.

Watch your classroom communications for the Zoom link, and contact Alyssa with any questions you might have!
Notice of WMS Annual Meeting & Ballot

Reminders from the Nurse's Office

It's time to complete your annual health and safety requirements in the Magnus Health System !

Deadlines:
For campers: All requirements are due by May 15.
For those not attending camp: All requirements are due by July 1.

We understand you may not be able to make appointments with your student’s physician to complete some of the health forms due to the current strain on the health-care system and Delaware's state-wide stay-at-home order. We are not asking you to focus on retrieving/completing health appraisals, immunization records and allergy/asthma action plans right now. However, we would like to ask that you do your best to complete all of the other electronic forms available in our school’s Magnus Health system.

We greatly appreciate you submitting all of the forms that you can complete today! With your help, we will be able to stay as close to our “normal” enrollment timeline as possible.

Please update Nurse Kathy at [email protected] with any future appointment dates so that she may be able to adjust dates and manage system alerts. As always, please don't hesitate to contact her with any questions or concerns.

Chat with Nurse Kathy:
