The Poetry of Ecstasy
Rev. Thom Belote, preaching

Each May, Rev. Thom leads a service dedicated to poetry. This year the poems he has selected - from Rumi, Walt Whitman, Mary Oliver and others - deal with the common theme of ecstatic experience. The 9:15 service will be held, weather permitting, at Memorial Rock Amphitheater.

PLEASE NOTE: This Sunday - weather permitting - the 9:15am Service will take place in our outdoor amphitheater, at Memorial Rock - approximately 150 yards from the rear of the Jones Building  , down a wooded trail. Parking is the same as usual.

MUSIC NOTES: This Sunday, we have a special treat for Mother's Day. All the music will be played by a string trio of Edith Gettes (violin), Kitty Stalberg (viola), and Dorothy Wright (cello). Be sure to come early for a selection of classical music based on nature themes. The service will include an arrangement of Scott Joplin's "Solace" and a delightful piece by bluegrass and classical fiddler Mark O'Connor. If the weather holds up, hearing these fine musicians play the first service al fresco should be especially delightful.

PARKING is available at The Community Church, as well as alternate parking options . Click here for a map.
Parking is not allowed at the Kehillah across the street.
