Can you help review P.E. and health curriculum?
District seeks feedback as part of process
The School District seeks your participation in the curriculum review process.

Curriculum development and review is an ongoing process, which begins with standards adopted by the state. Ray-Pec teachers at each grade determine what students need to know and be able to do, based on the standards.

A team of teachers review the flow of the curriculum from grade to grade. Adjustments and additions are made to create our local curriculum.

Reviewing and updating curriculum is a part of the district's ongoing commitment to provide the best educational opportunities for students. The review process provides District leaders and Board members with information concerning a specific content area. The Board will review and approve each curriculum developed by the District.

Physical Education and Health are the current content areas going through formal review.  Once the curriculum approval process is complete, future funds are allocated to purchase related instructional materials.
