Employee Leasing Templates
We previously provided a template for use when leasing employees from another provider. We have created a second, slightly modified, template for use between our Chapters, which can be found here. The indemnification and other language has been relaxed in this version. 

PPE Available from Allied Industries 
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in an effort to support front-line workers, Allied Industries is now providing reusable personal protective equipment masks and gowns for local, state and federal needs.  A division of the Chautauqua Chapter, Allied industries has been providing tactical gear to the United States Department of Defense for four decades. August Board of Governors Meeting 
Due to many uncertainties and hesitations related to the COVID-19 health crisis, President Jack Kowalczyk has decided to cancel the in-person Board of Governors scheduled for August, and hold the meeting remotely. We will follow up regarding dates for the remote meeting, and the State Office will work with Chapters to ensure the technology is effective and remote access works as smoothly as possible.
 
#ApplaudDirectSupport 
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) released a social media campaign to celebrate the dedication and resolve of New York's Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). You can join in the campaign by sharing their video and your DSP stories using the hashtag #ApplaudDirectSupport.
