Celebrating Earth Day

Earth Day is observed  around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

Here at Subarashii Kudamono, we celebrate by growing Asian Pears locally, so that you can have a delicious treat with a smaller carbon footprint.

This Earth Day, try using our own local ingredients,  Asian Pear Spread and Dried Asian Pears, to make Super Subarashii Kudamono Oatmeal Cookies.

Speaking of Pears...
"This stuff is flying outta here like hot cakes!...
May we please have more pear spread?"  Taylor, Lancaster, PA

Happy Mother's Day!

As we approach what may be a different kind of Mother's Day next month, we can still enjoy what Mother Earth provides us.

Our Asian Pear blooms, above and to the left, are pretty enough for a Mother's Day corsage, but they are needed on the trees to attract bees for pollination.

Soon there will be many pears growing where the blooms are now.  Can you taste them?

A Special Thank You

While hard work goes into growing Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pears  and creating our wonderful Asian Pear products delivery workers are essential to make sure those products get to your door.

During this time when so many of us are staying at home, we would like to give a big THANK YOU to all the people who are making contact-free deliveries so that many can continue to shelter in place or continue to farm safely.
