Congratulations to Lori Horhor from the University of California, Berkeley for being selected for the Eliza Lo Chin Unsung Hero Award! Lori has achieved so much for AMWA over the last few years, and we are so grateful to have her on our leadership team.

The AMWA premedical division is announcing its new membership rate that will be effective starting January 2021. As of now, AMWA premedical membership will be set to $20 per year for new members. If there are any changes, we will relay the information across all our platforms, so stay tuned! This new membership rate will not affect older members that previously bought their one-time-membership fee for all their premedical years. So in the meantime if you know of anyone who has yet to join, let them know that this month will be the last chance for them to get the one time fee of $35! They can join here.

The AMWA Premedical Programming Committee is a newly formed committee that will strive to keep premedical AMWA members engaged and in charge of AMWA programming. We will share and collaborate on ideas to develop new and engaging AMWA programming for all of our branches.
