A Message from the Director

In celebration of the International Women's Day, we are partnering with WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation and WEtech Alliance to present " How Women are Using Tech to Change the World" on March 6th, 2020 at Water's Edge Event Centre. The EPIC VentureWomen program has officially kicked off on February 14th. We are excited to be working with these four highly-motivated teams: Xpress Career LMS, Beaux, Vectorgaze and Ground Culture Garden Club. Join us on their Final Pitch Day on March 30th at 5pm to see what they have been working on. Let's empower woman entrepreneurs and be empowered by them!

In its fifth year, the annual EPIC Blue Sky Competition final will take place on March 18th, 2020. For the first time, we introduced a theme in the competition. Teams are required to submit a 2-minute video describing their ideas and innovations in solving a problem related to mobility. The top three teams will win one of the three Sushil Jain UWin Triple I Awads valued at $2,250 in cash. Submission deadline is March 12th.

Last but not least, we are delighted to have Ryli Michalczuk, a high school student from F.J. Brennan Catholic High School working at EPICentre as part of her co-op education program. Ryli will be helping us with various projects as well as working on her own social enterprise throughout the term.
