When I was in seminary I was the youth minister at a church in Indianapolis. This church had a wonderful group of people called “the stitchers” who did some really great work. Among other things they made turbans for cancer patients and blankets for premature babies. This group was very open about accepting new people, but I never joined them. I do not know the first thing about stitching, and honestly it is a skill that had very little appeal to me. After graduating seminary, I started at a church in Avon. To read more click here. |

KNIGHTS OF NORTH CASTLE
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!!!!
Monday, August 2nd - Thursday, August 5th
Hail, brave knights! We invite all young knights from Preschool to 5th Grade (grade child will be in in August) to join us on a quest to find the King's armor. Along the journey we will make crafts, play games, sing songs, hear Bible stories, eat dinner, and learn how to be strong in the Lord!
VBS is FREE for all children. It is from 5:30-7:45 starting Monday, August 2nd and ending on Thursday, August 5th with a Celebration Program.
Children can pre-register by calling the church office at 574-896-5927 on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
