Unique Solution for Foreign Born Job Seekers
Picture from Woodard Cleaning & Restoration - HR Shadowing
St. Louis Mosaic Project has launched a  Professional Shadowing Program  aimed at matching foreign-born, work-authorized professionals with companies offering job shadow opportunities as a way to help internationals experience American work culture. As part of their transition into a US-based career, these newcomers to St. Louis can gain hands-on insight and a more meaningful look at a job of interest by participating in this unique program. Several local companies, including Enterprise Bank & Trust, SSM Health, LaunchCode, S2Tech and AAA Translation have committed to offering shadowing opportunities.

Participation in the program does not commit to hire the shadower -- it is an opportunity to offer foreign-born job seekers 10-20 hours of exposure to an American work environment. Read more about it here. The hours and format of the shadowing experience can be flexible, unique to each workplace.

Are you a company willing to host a job shadower? Are you a work-authorized foreign-born job seeker? Please let us know! Click the button below to get in touch!
STL101 "STL Food Scene"
St. Louis Magazine Dining Editor George Mahe and Scottish-born freelance food and drink writer Iain Shaw will present at our next STL101. How is the STL food scene compared to other cities? What do we have that is unique? What are the upcoming restaurants and culinary events? How are St. Louis area immigrants contributing to our exciting dining culture? George and Iain will answer these questions and more!

STL101 is a monthly program offered by the St. Louis Mosaic Project that brings together St. Louis newcomers, natives, and internationals for an evening of connecting, socializing, and learning.
