Spring is in full bloom here at SCS. As we prepare to close out another successful school year, we are paying it forward and moving into tomorrow with great hope and excitement!
MAY DAYS
May is the last full month of school and a special time indeed. In this, the month of our Mother, Mary, we celebrate May Procession on May 7, and prepare for final exams and the graduation ceremonies of our PreK, K, and 8th grade students in June.

Our students are also participating in some wonderful SCS traditions such as the Talent Show, Colonial Days (5th grade), Longwood Gardens Field Trip (7th grade) and Hawk Mountain Field Trip (6th grade).

SPRING FORWARD
Our Second Annual Pay It Forward Event & Student Art Show was a huge success! Thank you to all who helped support this event in any way.

Our students continue to make good on their pay it forward pledges including donations to, and volunteer time for: libraries, animal shelters, and food banks.

In return, donors contributed over $20,000 to our school, and we gratefully acknowledged their support at the Pay It Forward event held at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on April 6. Thank you to event sponsors, Vincenzo's and Manatawny Creek Winery for the delicious food and drink, and to our many Chinese Raffle sponsors for adding to the excitement and fun of the night. Our art teacher extraordinaire, Robin Bisaccia worked with each class to inspire masterpieces that were framed and sold at the event. Our students had a chance to have their work on display at the Gallery itself!

A wonderful time was had by all, and we have already booked the space for next year's Third Annual Pay It Forward Event. Save the Date: March 28, 2020 will be another celebration to remember!

OPERATION RECESS REBOOT
Have you heard? We are building the first ever playground in our school's history!

With seed money from successful grants, including from Pottstown Area Health & Wellness, and matching gifts, we are finalizing plans that will include: inclusive playground equipment, an outdoor classroom with gardens and seating, and additional picnic-style seating.

We are 71% to our fundraising goal! Consider becoming a VIP supporter of Operation Recess Reboot. More info can be found here!
