The course will educate and train insulation inspectors on how to evaluate installation work and determine whether it is compliant with mechanical insulation specifications.

Deadline Alert for the Next Appraisal Class
Register by May 23
When you can show your customers how much money insulation can save them, they are more likely to invest in the proposed insulation project.
Send one of your employees to become a Certified Insulation Energy Appraiser and they will learn how to determine optimal insulation thickness and how a properly selected, specified, designed, installed, and maintained mechanical insulation system saves money and enhances system performance. NIA helps market and promote members who are active Certified Appraisers.

NIA's Safety Excellence Award
NIA's Safety Excellence Award is the only national award for outstanding safety performance in the mechanical insulation industry. Applications for Associates (Manufacturers), Contractors, Distributor/Fabricator, and Metal Building Laminators are available and will be accepted through September 3, 2019.
With input from the Health and Safety Committee, NIA's Board of Directors has elected to change the name of the award to NIA's Safety Excellence Award.
(Formerly known as the Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award.)
