ALC Completes 100 Mile Walking Challenge
La Cañada Flintridge Calif., August 4, 2021:
The Allen Lund Company (ALC) continues to be inspired by acts of kindness efforts across our nationwide offices as well as promoting wellness from within. From May to June ALC took part in a walking challenge, the ALC 100 honoring retired employee Scott Fletcher. For every employee that participated a $1 per mile was donated to a charity of Scott's choice.

93 employees participated in the event and everyone was given a tracking log with a weekly goal mileage and photos from fellow employees for encouragement to keep them motivated. As a company, employees walked 5000 miles!

On behalf of the Allen Lund Company, $5000 was donated to the Chaplain Services of McClinton Cancer Center in Texas.

Scott Fletcher commented, “This fabulous company that God blessed me to work for is just one more chapter in how they have treated me. Last year I was the Legacy Award winner and they had a walking challenge for the whole company, they donated a dollar for every mile, and I got to pick where it went. It was a piece of cake picking Dr. Singh and the McClinton Cancer Center.”
