Economic Impact Payments
In response to COVID-19, the federal government passed an economic relief plan. This plan includes payments that will be distributed to eligible individuals by either direct deposit, or as a physical check. 

  • If you receive your tax refund in the form of direct deposit, your relief check will be received from the government the same way.
  • Your payment will be deposited directly into the same account reflected on your most recent tax return.
  • You will receive your impact payment as a physical check if you do not use direct deposit.
  • You may be able to deposit your check using LFCU's Drive-thru lanes at all branch locations, or the Night Depository in lane 1 of all Drive-thru lanes
  • You may be able to deposit your check into your LFCU account by using the LFCU Mobile App and using our RDC (Mobile Deposit) feature

Here are some things you can do before and after you receive your check:
  • Check your account status if you are waiting for your check to be deposited
  • You can check your balance on the LFCU Mobile App, NetTeller Online Banking, or iTalk
  • Once you receive your check, you can use any of our convenient ATMs to do withdrawals
  • Or, you can also use any CU$ participating ATMs to do a withdrawal surcharge free

LFCU does not have control over how or when you will receive your payment. These payments are being distributed by the federal government. For up to date information about the stimulus payments, visit irs.gov.
