Baruch Dayan Emet (Praised be the Judge of Truth)
We've had some sad news involving our congregant families over the past few days, which we've been unable to send out because of Passover and Shabbat.

It is with great sadness that I inform the congregation of the passing, on Wednesday morning, of Marjorie Rosenthal, beloved mothe r of Robert Rosenthal, mother in law to Joan and grandmother to Benjamin and Rachel.  Marjory turned  100  last October.   Due to the pandemic and social distancing, as well as the Passover holiday, there is no public funeral, memorial or shiva scheduled at this time.  The family requests that  anyone wishing to make a contribution in her memory should do so to Stamford Hospital to assist in treatment of covid-19 patients.

I also am saddened to inform the congregation of the passing of Max Schneider, beloved father of Dave Schneider, father in law of Lucille and grandfather of Scott and Jenny.  A private graveside funeral will take place on Monday.

And I am saddened also to inform you of the passing, last Monday morning, of Julius Shenker, beloved father of Caroline & Matthew Kassel, and loving grandfather of Benjamin & Sydney.  A private funeral was held on Wednesday.

May all the mourners be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Rabbi Joshua Hammerman
